    Hi all,

I have made new seals for my Military 1940 Double burner petrol stove.

When I filled up the large bronze tank with fuel and pressure the petrol tank up and turn open the two taps to light the burners ... only air hisses from both tubes .... and if I take the tank off and turn it updide down for a few seconds .... fuel then sprays out of both tubes momentarily then back to only air to hissing out again ??

Can anyone kindly advise me what I now need to check or repair ??

    Kind regards,

    Mark

It seems that you have a broken fuel pipe inside the tank.

Thank you kindly for your reply,

I have now fixed the broken fuel pipes and am currently watching my kettle boil on the stove as we speak...

I’ll see if I can remember how to attach a photo ...

    Kind regards,

    Mark
