    I am trying to restore a Canadian 421-E but both burners and rings are badly rusted especially the bowls have holes on them after a light treatment of a wire brush. Someone is selling a 432 in a nice condition that is missing the fuel tank but the link to show tank compatibility only shows the US models.

    I did but it does not list the models I am looking for. I a a noob with stoves and not sure what the US equivalents are if any.

    +1 with Duane and thanks for his suggestion re matching PNs.
    After tank compatibility is the gen and the spacing: gen to burner asm.

    @magpupu2

    NOTE 1. If this 421E little stove and this 432A big stove are any indicator (tank tab difference is apparent) it does NOT look like the 2 are compatible.

    Unless 421E and 421s are especially rare.. patience man.
    Keep an eye out for it, give it some time, and a donor 421E may well present itself.

    You're restoring this particular 421E, the impression i get is this particular stove holds significance for you (or just start over on another?).

    If note 1 has not put you off:
    Re your: "... Someone is selling a 432 in a nice condition..."
    Asking that "Someone" seems like a good start.
    They want to sell it, ask if they can place a tape measure across from slot on the left (show the gen hole) to the slot on the right, 1 pic like that from seller and you're well on your way.
    that's all i got, good luck

    I ended up giving up on the 421E for now as it is common here in my area. I did pickup the 432, as it is not as common. I can get a propane adapter for now if I want to use it at the mean time. I am keeping an eye for a tank for it though as it is in a pretty nice condition.
