Hi, another uncommon French stove. I got this because how to say no to such a nice stove with typical green French cast iron structure and trivet. The stove itself costed less than shipping. The simple discus stove is kept in place by two metal plates screwed to the base. The stove came without burner and filler cap, so I decided to use a nice silent burner with a spare slotted silent cap that should come as well from France, just to give a coherent look to the stove. A video of it burning: Enjoy, Nicola
@Robert Radcliffe in fact. I also like the fact that they put some effort to make things differently in most of the cases. Cheers, Nicola
Hi Nicola. Beautiful stove. It looks great. Congratulations. I have seen similar silent burner caps in a French Brama stove and some British ( military) stove. Greetings.
@Knee Hi Stan thanks! Yes it recalls the British 6 Military stove cap, but that one is nicer because the slots go partially also on the top of the cap, so it makes a nicer flame pattern @gnome thanks! I was scared to test fire with that trivet on Nicola
@Nicola Francesco Elia Another fabulous stove ! The stoves you have posted recently are stunning . Thank you for sharing these wonderful images
@A A C thanks, for me it’s a pleasure and a chance to fire some of the stoves of my collection. I think I will keep posting for some months to come Nicola
Hi @Nicola Francesco Elia absolutely stunning addition to your collection, the enamel trivet and base is stunning real eye candy, well done on a brilliant score
