I've had this for many years but never cooked with it until early this summer. That also happened to be the first time I cooked bacon. I've cooked with bacon before but that was already cooked. Trying to take a flame shot didn't turn out this afternoon, too sunny to see the warmed up burn. I also found I need to replace the pump's checkvalve rubber, not sure yet if that is still among the spare parts in the bag. While it held good pressure for cooking this summer, now it leaks back out (pushing the pump out). Besides the E emblem on the cover, I see the burner and tools are also marked Enders.

    That’s a nice Enders baby!

If your pump it being pushed out by pressure, it’s time to check the seals and washers.

    Cheers

NRV seal was one of the still present parts in the bag. Picking out the old one, I found it was petrified. With the replacement, I got a good pump operation again. New money shot with overcast sky and cookie sheet held over the stove.
