Wandering through the local thrift store and found what I think is an awesome treasure for a dollar! And even had fuel in it...
It was quite tarnished, but a little hand rub with some polishing compound gave me the clue and led me here!
I have always appreciated the simplicity and repairability of older machines beginning with tube radios, black-powder guns, older American motorsicles and my trusty LandRover Discovery. (Yes, the last one is a stretch, but surprisingly very repairable!) I've worked in auto parts for 40+ years, currently working marine parts, but always one to fix it myself and know it's done right.
Just started researching this treasure, but I can already see I'm glad to have found this place! Russ

What a perfect find to start the obsession. The Svea 123 is the backbone of my own backpacking trips every season.

    A dollar!

Welcome aboard Russ. Your stove is the 123R, slightly different to the 123.
