    I have a roarer 31 but it has some diffused stress cracks, not sure if they were caused by the long storage oxidation or if that was a manufacturer fault.

    How is the brass on this 37?

    Hi @Nicola Francesco Elia . As you can see, the stove has not been cleaned for a few years. It's not as shiny as yours. Because if I polish, I only do it once. And so far I haven't found a varnish to use.
    The brass is fine, but as you can see, someone has soldered a damage to the right of the filler. I guess there has been a crack there. Otherwise, it is nice in the brass.

    Ok,

    clear. I usually don’t polish the stoves because I like natural patina. Clearly I polish them only if I have to make solder repairs… with flux and heat is basically impossible to save the patina, and the parts must be very clean to be soldered.
