Høvik Verk Standard No:36

    Høvik Verk had three versions of their 1 litre domestic stove.
    No:31 with roarer burner, No:37 with silent burner and the No:36 with a special silent burner.
    Appart from the burner the stoves were identical. No numbers on the tank.
    Her are some photos of the No:36.

    that realy is the most peculiar burner I've ever seen. Wonderful stove, thanks for the pix.

    This system where the flames are going downwards could be the solution of silent burners on the more modern roares as Optimus Nova etc.

    I tried to talk to Optimus, but noe they have new owners, and Ill guess those who lost their jobs are probably not that entusiastic any nore.

    Thats a good looking stove you got there, and a really nice flame

    The burner used on the Hövik is the same modell as my Radius No 5 is having.

    the one silent that does push the flames out rather than up. love it
