I'm putting this here, but I'm happy if the Moderator(s) think it should be in "Stove Paraffinalia".

This is, curtesy of @Rodger Willows, my (I think never used) Handi oven. Thanks, Rodger.

I'm working on the small areas of rust, and I will probably keep this as a shelf queen (which means, I'm now looking for an oven!).

    Cheers

Looks pristine Tony, yes I think it should be on the shelf.

    Cheers

Tony, that is a lovely Handi oven.
I am happy to leave the thread where it is so that the oven does not get lost in the large Paraffinalia forum.
There are other ovens in the Handi section of SRG.

Your oven is similar (but not the same as) Graham's oven.

However, there are plans to sub-divide the Paraffinalia forum into sub-sections.
I am not sure when it will happen as it is not an easy task.

By the way, I have no qualms about unused ovens - I would use it !

A properly operating stove produces no kerosene fumes or "taste" whatever.

Brian, definitely get one. There is a lot written, and a lot of photos, on CCS about the Coleman ovens. You will see many examples in a site search.

The easy portability of the Coleman is where it exceeds other camp ovens.

There is not a lot of Handi branded stuff so I cant see a reason for it not to say here.

I meant to weigh measure it. I’ll do that later today.

Brian, the Coleman oven on kero or white petrol gives no fumes. I have used it many times and cooks well. The provided thermometer is just an indication and not very accurate but is ok. Also some aluminium foil around the sides but not the back helps.

    Cheers

The Handi oven in this post has the following dimensions:

    Height: 23cm (9”)
    Width: 25cm (10”)
    Depth: 23cm.

With both trays fitted, it weighs 4.35 kilos (10lbs).

    Cheers

It is an identical size to Graham's oven.

    @shagratork

For all intents and purposes it's the same oven; just a different door handle, and the latch is bent differently.

    What do you reckon, @Graham P ?

    Cheers

That's a beauty. I really like the enamel coating. If you ever try it out, I'd be interested to know how it performs.

Just measure my Coleman oven,11.5 inches wide, 11.5 deep, and 12 inches high, so pretty much the same thing.
