    Hello all,

Purchased a Hipolito No. 2 stove a couple months back. The stove was new old stock, but ended up requiring a tank fettle. As posted previously (Link) the tank seam solder had a flaw and leaked fuel upon intial testing. Following the advice given I used 50/50 solder and repaired the leak. The solder was not pretty but it works and is on the bottom of the tank.

    Here is the stove:

After viewing other Hipolito stoves posted here, I think the pan ring is not original. All other parts appear to be original and the burner was definitely new and unfired. All in all it is an awesome stove with an excellent flame!

    Best regards,

    Mike.

Excellent. I have a virtually identical one, but with a big spirit cup, supposedly diesel pre-heat, and it's a regulated burner.

Hipo has the greatest tank graphics, I think!
