One of the last stoves I have been trying to find here but in USA these are not exactly common. I don't know how to date it but I do understand that these are made under license... about all I know about it. Stove came with original cork pip in the NRV and lead gaskets that were paper thin but it ran right out of the box. Green fairies burned off when new fuel was run in it. Knob on the pump doubles as a tank cap. Burner is Primus and by what I understand this is normal. Gaskets changed from items I got from the forum sponsor the fettlebox (small lead gaskets for the burner...small burner gaskets...tank gasket...made m own pip from viton) I have a lot of 1 1/2 pint stoves... But this is one that has a lot of refined lines .. workmanship is amazing. Jet was fine and not clogged up with crap. Someone loved it...and now I do. It goes on our next camping trip.
Hi @Remus1956. Great find! Really well maintained and complete. The can and colors are in great condition. I have the same model, but the colors on the can are badly faded and the pump handle/travel cap has different knurling. HØVIK VERK Standard 41
Hey @Knee Thanks man. While I was researching to try to find out more about the stove I had looked at yours...and man you have the latch on the box, but thats really interesting now that I look at it you also have a door on your windscreen (mine has a hole) and you have the same dimple in the spirit cup as mine. They look pretty much identical. I am also curious about the year...I was assuming older than the 1950's just based on the feet like the Primus 210 or Optimus 00. Wish they came with a date code, but mine is smooth on the bottom of the tank. Its a nice stove...very smooth. @Tony Press noticed the legs look black but thats from use...someone used this stove a lot but took care of it. The previous owner received it as a gift from a stove collector friend over 10 years ago he said...He lit it once or twice but just kept it on a shelf. Regarding the graphics....they make me laugh actually. Looks like a guy minding his own business cooking on a stove with a fishing boat...but he was poaching coconuts. The coconut police is there, asking him for his coconut license...
@Remus1956 What a absolutely stunning stove and example, we can see in the pictures what a high quality built stove you have there. Other than the stove a feature i have taken too is the the graphics and its design on the spirit tin, a fantastic score and stove you have there
@mr optimus thank you...honestly I thought it was going to be the same as an Optimus 00 or a Primus 210...or a Radius 21. Kind of all have similar parts etc... This one was a surprise for sure. I was pretty lucky as these dont come up often for sale, and even less in the USA...I am really happy to have it!
