    Hello guys!
Just got a Svea no 16 from a fleamarket. The burner nipple seems partly blocked and the burning is yellow and uneven. There is plenty of pressure in the tank. Does anyone have some advice on how to clean the burner/nipple? Best regards Søren, Denmark

Do you know if it is possible to buy a few prickers?

With no access to a guitar, but plenty of bicycles, I tend to improvise with a single strand of wire form a piece of cable. Gear cable strands are thin, brake cable slightly thicker. Stainless is better than galvanized! You can even crimp a piece back into the end of a pricker handle (if you have one). There is generally no need to wreck the bicycle for this as often you can cut a frayed end from beyond the mechanism pinch bolt, or salvage an offcut when a new cable is fitted.
