Hi, just signed up, some great posts on here. Thank you. Just got back from camping earlie enough to remember to ask my questions.

I have a 413G and on the top panel where it clasps there are two “hooks” that I’ve never been able to figure out what they are used for. Can anyone tell me?

Got to say I love my Colman stoves. I use them year round here in Colorado spent the last two weekends up above Leadville (10,151 feet In town). This time of year the highs are in the lower 70’s and lows upper 30’s great all around temperatures.

Have you looked in the Gallery at other 413G stoves? Are they the same?

    @Brad Mugleston
Welcome to CCS. If you post some pictures of the clips it will help those of us that can’t help (because they haven’t got a 413G) to understand the question AND allow those that do have as be the knowledge to be sure they are answering correctly.
    Regards
    John

What’s going on here? Is this some kind of drug? When I wrote this original post I had the 413G I purchased at a garage sale and my fathers 413H. That was less than one month ago. Now I have a 425B, 425E 426D and a 508 on top of the first two... And I’m trying to get one with a round cylinder style tank. Don’t know the model yet.

    do I need help?

anyway here is a picture of the hooks I’m asking about

Looked in the Gallery and they only appear on the 413G not there on the F or H.

The clips hold the handle bail in a stowed position . Hope this helps . No cure for stove pox only servicing and continuing the addiction . WR

That's what I guessed and that's why it's only on the one model....Doesn't really do a very good job of it...

Stove Pox - it could be worse.....I guess.....

Stove pox seems like no issue.
    Buy a new cabinet.
    Another cabinet.
    More boxes.
    More display shelves.
    More parts storage.
    Fuel storage.
Every year of a certain model.
    Every year of another model.
Every version in every year of every model.
    Eventually....
    A new shop/shed.

Yeah, it could be worse. You could have a Hobbit Hole. (@Doc Mark)
