Metal stamping on the trivet is very fine.

I’ve no reason to think the fuel cap is a replacement, but ‘Marshal’ is an interesting spelling - not the spelling of the surname in English usage (Marshall) but as in ‘Field Marshal’.

As is the case with the rest of the stove, the burner is well made. The threads into the burner riser are well-formed. The steel flame ring is of an unusually thick gauge.

The splayed form of the feet is well executed and the pump knob has an attractive form and feel to it.

    Performance is excellent.

    Hi John

A great find. Just one question, how do you keep doing it?

I’ve only just noticed a mis-spelling in the burner casting. Too late to put that right ‘once the die was cast’.

Looks very massive, not only the flame ring. Nice one!
Is that a common stove in Pakistan?

    Ciao, Bastian

You've got that stove running well. Some of the cast parts seem a little rough like the air release screw and fuel cap. My guess is that these get some hard use in the outlying areas. I'm such a bad speller that I'd have never noticed the misspelled "orignal" on the burner unless someone pointed it out. Even then I had to look at it for a while to figure out how it was misspelled.
