Hi! My 210 made by Høvik Verk seems to burn more on one side. Is this caused by something partally blocking the jet hole? Can it be fixed or should I buy a new jet? Will a standard 210/00 jet fit a Primus from Høvik Verk?

You’re right to suspect the jet. Have you ever had an even flame?

If so, likely the jet has become blocked. A jet pricker might clear it, but more effectively cleaned if the jet is removed. Pricked installed in the burner, the blockage is simply pushed back and could block the jet again.

A Primus jet or generic 0.32mm jet will fit if a replacement is necessary.

Thanks! I have used the pricler, cleaned with carborator cleaner, pressurized air. But it didnt help. But I guess I just not have got the dirt out.

Having removed the jet nipple? That should have shifted any blockage in it. Unless there’s a quantity of dirt in the riser tube the extent of jet cleaning suggests a damaged jet, requiring replacement.

I found a new jet and the problem was solved. Yes, maybe it is damaged. Now it is burning nicely.
