I saw this Burmos Stove tin on eBay a couple of weeks ago, I needed/wanted a tin for my older Burmos 21, this one seemed cheap enough, plus it came with a stove and extra fooferah, so I bid,,, and I was the only bidder. So anyway, it arrived today. Immediately I took it to my storage facility/workshop to see up close what I had bought and had been waiting for. I oiled the pump, though it didn’t really need it, put fuel in the tank, gave it a preheat, and away it went.

From much of what I’ve read here, these “newer” Burmos stoves can have cracks, or are prone to that ailment,,, so far, I can find nothing wrong with this stove a good cleaning wouldn’t solve.

It came with a spirits can, jet tool, 1 Burmos and 4 Primus prickers, an extra burner ring, a Burmos wrench, the Burmos alcohol lighter widget, taped inside an envelope was an extra jet, and of course, the storage tin. $34 I think... Perhaps not too cheap, but cheap enough given I get the Burmos tin I wanted, and a working stove, plus parts, thrown into the mix...

My other Burmos has lettering stamped into the tank,,, much more interesting I think, but the sticker maybe has its own charm?

@Haggis I recall in THIS thread you featured your other ‘21’ and I spoke of having had Burmoses with cracks in their pump tubes. So two now without that ailment is good ... makes me unlucky I guess.

I let the stove run a while and it didn’t lose pressure or leak fuel any place I could find. Fingers and toes crossed this continues...

Either way, it was the tin I was after, everything else is a bonus.
