I've been away from stoves for a few years and just recently got back into the hobby.

My Manaslu 94 starts normally, but loses presure and goes out after 30 seconds. Air is leaking somewhere, but I don't know where. I've checked all the obvious places- the fuel cap, pump, and burner are screwed in tightly. The leather is oiled. The stove has not been used for several years, but was working at that time. Where should I look next?

94 or 96? Pump up and dunk in water after emptied of fuel. I keep the pump tube out of the water. Likely the NRV, but that I test differently.

    Duane,
You are right. It's a 96. I will try the dunk test. Thank you.

The leak is coming from the fuel cap. What to do about that?

Change the rubber (viton) seal in the fuel cap.

    Cheers
