    Howdy, Guys!

WOW!! What a neat way to start the day! Thanks, so much, for your kind words, my friends, and I know my old Lux will be beaming with happiness over his win! It's interesting, but there were several other stoves that I seriously considered voting for, just because they were so very nice! Thanks to all who entered, and well done to one and all! Take care, and God Bless!

    Doc

Winner winner chicken dinner! I think it was that beautiful cast iron trivet that put your stove over the top. You should attach a blue ribbon to the LUX and display it prominently. Well played!

    HI, Ben (@z1ulike ), John (@presscall ), and George (@kerophile )

Many thanks, Guys! George, yes, I bought this stove, brand new, in the Winter prior to 1914. I remember it well, because, it was so cold that Winter, that all the hens laid eggs with double shells!! :^o:^o:^o:^o ;);):whistle::whistle:

In truth, I got it from the bay of evil, and was surprised that more folks didn’t jump in on the auction. That was during a time when I was having VERY good fortune in that regard, and half a dozen, or more, rare and wonderful stoves, were acquired in a similar fashion, some of which I’d been seeking for decades! Thansk, again, my friends. Much appreciated! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good. Wish,
    Mark (The Docster!)

    Hi @Doc Mark
    Congratulations
An incredibly beautiful and old stove.
I had to vote for it rather than my own.

    Tom.

    Good Morning, All!

Thanks, again, to one and all! I truly appreciate your comments, and as my old Lux #9 is displayed as part of my front room stove group, I have been petting it each time I walk past! As I've mentioned before, one of the most wonderful things about being a member of CCS, and having so many fellow Stovie friends, is that there is a plethora of interesting, historically important, and amazing stoves out there, and just when I think I've seen them all, another one pops up that I've never seen before!! My sincere thanks to all who continue to support CCS, and for posting your excellent, and fantastic stoves here for us all to enjoy, and from which we can all learn!!! HUZZAH!! A happy doff of my Stetson to you all!!! Have a great day, and God Bless!

Happy to be in such good company,
    Doc
