    Hi all CCS members!

Last week I bought this Max Sievert item. I think it´s some kind of stove carrier what I heard from a friend.

Pan plate is of cast iron, other parts of metal.

Height with handle is about 40 cm
Diameter of pan plate is about 20 cm

Marked: "Made In Sveden, AB Max Sievert, Type -"

    Love the spelling of Sweden/Sveden...

....I am now looking for some more information about this......

    Hi Klasse,

I would say it's some kind of industrial pot support frame that would fit a stove and used for heavy duty melting jobs. Carried around at the factory to where she would be needed/used with the big heavy handle.
'Sveden' - when I say it sounds like I'm a pathetic english actor pretending to be speak german.

I seems to me to be a holder for a lead melting pot used by plumbers. The ones in the US commonly burn white gasoline (coleman fuel, naptha, et al) or propane. Propane is most common nowadays.

I expect a large kerosene burner would fit in there quite handily.
