I have posted how I make lipsticks, flat pack burner bells (here) and flame plates before. However this time when I made the set I decided to make the flame plate from steel with twisted supports. The result was good, and I now have another working Monitor 17B.

The lipstick stem is made from thick tube and so the thermal feedback downwards to the tank is very good. The lipstick stays very hot and a gauze inside is not really needed, but I put one in anyway.

The jet hole is 0.23mm as best I can measure, and I am pretty sure the yellow tips on the flame will disappear when all the grease and crud has burned off.
