MSR GK wiggly bit

    Okay okay, I give up. Please someone tell me what is the function of the split pit found at the base of the burner bell ?

    Have heard it should be to guide fuel for preaheating down on the small priming pad. But not sure - Have no better explanations. (I removed mine)

    @lanevitt ,

    As for the cotter pin, I've left those in place, for the stoves that had them originally. IMHO, no need to remove them, as they are doing no harm, weight next nothing, and MSR designed the stoves to have them. Just my 'tuppence....

    Your tuppence is always well spent.. If MSR have invested time and effort to design it that way it will be reinstalled after the stove's refurbishment.
