I purchased an MSR Whisperlite Internationale 600 in 1996. Great stove, though I don't use it backpacking much now, opting for something lighter (PRD with Jetboil Stash pot, very fuel efficient and light). What is the material used for the fuel line, the actual fuel line inside the metal braid? Is it something that is subject to deterioration from age? Any known failures? I have not heard of any, but you all have significant stove experience and history so I thought I'd ask.
