My first coleman502

    I have at agree with all the posts, why did they stop making the 502? I started out as a Coleman guy and have almost every 500 series single burner (need the 502A in red thanks to Jeff ;) ) and still to this day I would take my 502 over any model for use in the field. By far the 500/500A/502 are the best built. That said I do use my 533 duel fuel mostly now not because I like it better just because I can run unleaded and its’ cheaper than Naptha. Living in Canada 1 US gallon of Coleman fluid is around 15-16$ US/Can. and a gallon of unleaded is around 5$. unleaded is even cheaper for the Americans, less taxes. I guess the high taxes are used to pay for all the things we destroy when we lose hockey games :-k

    BTM, be aware the chemical additives in Regular Unleaded Gas (RUG) tend to leave deposits in your generator tube MUCH faster than Coleman Fuel does. Would not hurt to pull it apart and soak it in Carb Cleaner regularly.
