Hi, I'm new and have been buying old stoves and lanterns at thrift stores for many years, (I hang them in my shop) I found this and don't know what it is... I mostly have old Colemans... It looks like an old Coleman I have that folds into an oven, but I don't think it is a Coleman Thanks for any help,

    Crandall

Looks like a Coleman. I'd have to check my ICCC book. Similar to a 9C, maybe a 2D.

Thanks so much, looks like a 2D... I will try to repack it, and test it.

The 9 did not have an oven.

And ..... Welcome to CCS. A fine way to introduce yourself.

I am fairly certain that the stove is a Coleman 2D.

Here is an advert from 1927.

Nice find! Looks like it is in pretty condition. Congrats! Either on this site or coleman collectors there is info about the oven grate.

The latest, on this forum, was a member started making them (grates), then just stopped. No more word after that.
