Below is my new 625. Got it off of Ebay. My first Phoebus. It came with a parts kit which was good because I had to replace the pump cap seal. Bucket test showed bubbles. The old one was hard and came out in pieces. Fueled and pumped it up after that, primed it and the result is below. Second picture is low flame for simmer, last picture is wide open. It's got a spare "G" jet and needle, and a "G' jet already in it. Is it worthwhile to change out the jet just to get a clean one in there, or do I just keep a spare? Other parts look like one each SRV and NRV nibs. Thanks in advance for any tips.
What a beauty. A good philosophy is "if it's not broken, dont change it!" And judging from that flame shot it is NOT broken. Best regards, Vidar
Hi Vidar, nice stove. One addition you might consider is a spirit cup or clip-on pre-heater for a Tilley lamp. This helps prevent the paint on the tank from burning off. https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/fettled-phoebus-625-in-need-of-stove-labels.25013/#post-254925 http://www.camping-online.co.uk/out...rch-151.html?gclid=CIWLwo-z7MgCFQq3GwodbnYBCw Best Regards, George.
