Made a simmer disc for the M1950, but no joy. I keep a bigger folding handle simmer plate in the camp box which will have to do. This thing will not be tamed to a simmer.

Try putting the pricker up to lower the flame.

The 'Born to Boil' M-1950 is full blast or off. The only way to really lower the flame is to light it with lower pressure, but adjustable it ain't. :)

I have to turn mine off, depressurise and re-light, seems to be the only way.
It's a losing battle as its the brass-tanked Bialaddin one so it self-pressurises itself again in a few minutes :lol:

Thx for the advice, with a bit of fiddling it was effective. IMG_20191014_140224753.jpg IMG_20191014_140213046.jpg

My MSR XGK EX is like full blast all the time. Great for boiling fast.
