Just a tentative enquiry at this time, but is anyone interested in a night or 2 under canvas around the turn of the month (Nov/Dec)?

Yep - even if I can't get the family committed.

Been looking around for somewhere handy for me (being largely tied to public transport just now). Don't know if they'd let us on Yore House Fm - think its seasonal there; will give them a bell. Had a look at the Green Dragon at Hardraw. Had heard bad reports about there but I think its under new management. Any ideas for a possible venue?
There's UG but its in the middle of nowhere. There's a couple of all-year places in the M-i-T area but they're in the middle of nowhere too. :(

Thought about them but they seemed a long way South and a bit of a twatbag to approach from the North. If you were happy w/ Malham, I could get there easily enough (I think!)

Burton Fleming would be a bit of a hike for me.
I was looking at Malham & Gordale on Goomaps/Where's the Path/Streetmap when it occurred to me that I don't think I've ever been there. Pretty much on the doorstep, too. :?
    I wouldn't mind going there.

Yore Ho. & Malham are both closed and have repair people in. Gordale looks promising. :D

    Any thoughts on when?
Next weekend 26-28/11 or the w/e after; 3-5/12?
    or later?

3-5/12 would be ideal for me.
    How about you?

Taking all things into consideration, I'm going to have to bow-out of this weekend's camping. Much as I'd like to go for it and I've been looking forward to it all month, prudence suggests staying home would be a better option for me at the moment.
