I browsed a bit today after reading about the Optimus 208 recently featured. One of the threads I found was Optimus 208 However, it seems all links are either corrupted or points to different, non-related posts... E.g. In the post by @aktopp on examples of UFO burners, links to Knock Off Sigg/Trangia Cook Set?? Opinions Please? and Phoebus 725 ,paint type? are clearly not what was intended... Which is understandable when platforms change, but annoying nevertheless. So, my question is simply: Do we want to make an effort to report/correct these old threads or do we just leave them as is?
@janders When I find a corrupted link that is supposed to link to another part of CCS, I use the “Report” function to notify the Moderator(s). It’s then fixed. Links to “outside” websites are a different matter and should not be referred. Cheers Tony
If it's links to internal pages I like to repair them if I can - please report using the method Tony described. Unfortunately it isn't always possible.
