    So I had a great stove week. Needed to tell someone besides my wife who is politely interested.

    Last weekend we visited a outdoor consignment shop and hit the jackpot. I found two sigg tourist sets with svea 123 stoves. One tourist set had the original clear plastic strap. One svea stove only and one the second had the wind screen. 20 bucks a pop. I also found an old MSR whisperlite for 10 bucks with gray pump and maintenance kit and beat up wind screen. I found another bag of goodies which contained 2 mini pumps for svea with fuel caps along with a svea maintenance kit 10 bucks. And for good measure I found a little primus propane lantern 10 bucks.

    Well I thought I was done for a while but happened on facebook marketplace and found a really nice coleman 502 very lightly used and almost rust free in the burner and only a couple little paint scrapes on the bottom of the tank. I had to drive a ways but it was my final 30 bucks.

    This should keep me out of trouble for a while.

    So that is how I spent my 100 dollars. Thanks for patiently listening to my report. Photos below. I( have already cleaned up the whisperlite and a svea tourist combo)

    I had to persevere on the 502 someone else was ahead of me, don't know why they passed it up. When I picked it up he said he had offers ranging up to 100 dollars from Nevada. I live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. He said "I can't wait to get this off facebook I am getting lots of messages. I had no idea these things were so popular." I paid the cash and ran.

    Oh I left my credit card at the consignment store. An excuse for a return trip hmmmm......... Lightning doesn't strike twice in the same spot.

    @compman2 ,

    WOW!! That's a super score!! Very well done! I had a few days like that, up in Alaska, many years ago, when I scored 9 stoves, including a 111T, Phoebus 725, Taykit, Optimus 80, a SVEA #106, and others, for dirt cheap prices. The shipping back home, cost far more than all the stoves!! Don'cha just LOVE it, when that happens?!! Yep, you got a stunning stove score, no if's, and's, or but's!! Thanks for sharing! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc

    Nice day.

    I scored something like that in a used sporting goods store in Montana a few years ago.

    The store we were at was 45 minutes away. First time there. Sometime I would like two visit two others in VA. They are 2 hours away unfortunately they are in opposite directions.
