    For several years now, I have spendt time with iritation over some real unnatural scratches on the top of the box. I think patina is nice, sure, but when somebody make unnatural scratches I finally decided to make a repainting. I also make a new burning test . I think the color fits well the original color. But I need to admit that the paint are not type heat resistant. So if anybody have contacts, buying color with heat resistant,
    Matching this and other color, I should be happy! Example millitary green, RAL 6003, and yellow olive green. Must be in spray cans.

    Hi Skauvill,
    I don't know if Rust-oleum paint is available outside the USA, but they're a pretty big brand, so I would guess it's more than likely.
    I use Rust-oleum High Heat #7752 Heat Resistant Green for my Sunbeam gas BBQ grill.
    SKU: 020066775285

    It's a special spray paint for stoves and high heat applications.
    The color is sometimes called "Hunter Green.'' It has a semi-gloss or matte finish. Some Coleman appoliances of a certain vintage have a similar shade.

    I appreciate the old being restored to look and work like new. Good luck with your search for suitable paint.

    Hello! Thank you for feedback! Does it look like the original color? Do you have any pictures?

    Hi, it seem that many do like you and add a high temperature clear coat over it to protect the paint and it works good.

    I did not clear coat. I let the paint cure at least one month.

    I think it`s the best, if it`s possible to use heat resistant colors. I have a couple of insident from years ago, using regular Paint for cars. The painting was melting under the tin Box (optimus 8)
    But sure it`s help letting it hardend for some month.
    Does anybody try to hardend it in the oven for at least 150 degrades?

    I do agree with you! Thats why I think its important to find the right color, actuelly not easy, but I like to try. And offcourse its makes it even more difficult when trying to find heat resistant as well.

    I did bake to cure first. But I left the painted stove to hang for a month.
    @ArchMc Any paint coming off?

    Hi, here my 111 that look almost same at yours, the paint is from Napa and it is a high temperature one, oil and gas resistant. I also bake it following @Tony Press recommendations.
