Please note also that this ”tripple fuel” stove 111T is a ”four fuel” stove regarding the later Optimus instructions as in your instruction.

Look at the header on the instruction abow and in the information of the restrictor tubes.

Earlier instructions do only mention kerosene, gasoline and alcohol as fuels but on the later ones, as this one, Optimus has included diesel.

I recently acquired three in the same or better condition. NOS with tested stickers on burners.
    Only one remains unfired.

    Wow that’s pretty awesome!
Would you be willing to let go of a jet and restrictor tubes set they come with? I’d like a set to keep with my 199.

i'm guessing one of those restrictors is for the alcohol jet the other is to burn alcohol through the white gas jet
but this thread has given me an idea of how to cure the melting burner in my bio wotsit butane adapter
I need to reduce the airflow into the burner bell - with a RESTRICTOR TUBE!
that's one of the best things about this here privately owned forum
ideas crop up get, kicked around, mulled over then BINGO!

and that gets me thinking on the subject of papal infallibility and succession
is this here website an organised religion or is it north korea?

@Rickybob the the instructions says the one with most holes is for using with the alcohol jet and the other is for different quality/grades of gasoline? I also thought it was for using alcohol but I’m a little confused now after reading several threads about using alcohol as a fuel.

    Anyone have advise?

The restrictor with the flange is for alcohol and alky jet.
The other is for differing grade of gasoline.
    Read the instructions again.

That’s what I gathered from the instructions.

Yes @AngryDaddyBird but in my three TTT,s the ones with the bigger holes are on both ends of the restrictor tube. The flange tube has only two smaller real close to the bottom.

There is a thread here, somewhere, and @Doc Mark discussed some details about the different types of restrictor tubes.
The discussion included home made tubes also.

Seems different than what I have. Would you be interested in letting a set of restrictor a go?

Your right. I read up on that thread. Soon as I can I’ll be ordering a few jets.

To make a restrictor tube get 1/2 inch brass tube and drill a few holes.

@Ray123 Yes I read about that it my skills are limited. Haha. If there’s a chance at getting the restrictor tubes I don’t have I’d like to try and get them. Then I can compare at what works best and I’ll cooy that one. I see there’s another tube as @Mark Layman described that’s different than those I have. That’s what I’d like to get if anyone has an extra.

After reading long discussions of restrictor tubes and which variant to use with what fuel and jet, I came to the conclusion the appropriate approach is usually going to be trial and error. Try everything you got until it works -- then maybe write a note for next time and hope that the next batch of denatured alcohol is the same formulation.

This is very true. Like most things trial and error. In many cases the results will vary person to person. Lots of things to consider also. Altitude, fuel quality and so on. I guess in the end one must just see what works for them self.
