Latest project. Box is ok apart from the catch is broken. Stove is in very good condition, meths can is ok. Legs are not original I think. Windshield and spanner missing. I changed the washers , could not get the nrv out as it would not release and I was a bit scared of damaging the pump unit , so it is in soak for now. Fired up with a long pre-heat and ran well, made a brew so good to go for now. Will get some better pictures later.
Thank you. Very nice. Trevor's Hyperlinked Index has 1 pint (travelling) 200 spanning 1915-34. The latest offering for the 200 is 1934 (model had ended by 39 for sure). So far my guesstimate is pre-32 for this one. That said it could just as well be 1924 or earlier. That looks to be the original tin, the tin may place it even earlier . The backdating so far: the 1 pint tank details for the 200 & 00 are similar. Catalog illustrations can be flawed but the '34 and 32 catalogs still shows 200 side tank markings as you have: Globe logo on left then "Aktiebolaget Optimus Stockholm". on top, "Patent" is still in use in 34 (and beyond). ('29 brochure not sure that helps). '24 catalog reflects a change. Sometime pre-32 (after 24) the use of your hex reserve cap ended. thanks again
@OMC thank you for that information. That makes it the oldest stove I own. I am giving it a gentle clean at the moment as there has been water in the bottom of the box and the legs and flame plate have a little corrosion on them.
