Optimus 22 or 111 case latch or key holder

I purchased a Optimus 22B and it’s missing the spring steel latch that keeps the top and bottom together and also missing one of the spring steel retainers for the regulator knob key or whatever it’s called. Does anyone know if they are available from anywhere? Thanks in advance,

The case clip would originally have been spot-welded to the inside of the case.
Re-attaching a new clip by welding or brazing damages the paint finish of the stove case. That is why I drilled a hole and used a cap nut and bolt.
If you study the photos in the link i provided you will see the design of the clip is quite complicated and would be difficult to achive in spring steel unless heat treated after being formed.

The clip is secured to the case on its inner surface and you can see that the spring action is achieved by the flexing of the clip inside the case from its securing point.

Spring steel might not be required. I just looked in the wife's kitchen drawer, and there was a stainless steel palette knife which looked as if it might be suitable as a donor....just thinking.

On the subject of alignment: If you can see that the threaded exit from the tank has been indented into the tank, and that is the reason for the misalignment of the regulator knob, you are correct in thinking that it could be sorted out. It doesn't make any sense to bend the fuel feed tube to off-set this tank distortion.
On stoves with conventional discus or pancake shaped tanks, such indentation damage is corrected by gripping the upstand and burner in one hand and bracing the tank with the other hand. A combined firm, but gentle, lifting and bending force is then applied to the upstand to pull the indentation out and correct the geometry of the assembly.
