Very odd working on the left hand burner , its all reversed ,
How do you mean?
I spend five minutes trying to re-fit the pricker till I found it fits the opposite side to the normal 111 .
That would be on account of the fact that the left hand burner is assembled differently to deliver the control knob as a mirror image to the right hand burner
Hence the oft repeated warnings to look after that burner - you can replace the other one with a burner from a 111, but you can't get a spare left hand burner.
I haven't looked recently, but I think I worked out a few years ago when I first got my 22 that the left hand burner actually uses all the same components, just assembled differently. Therefore if someone was competent at brazing they could disassemble a normal 111 burner and reassemble to deliver a 22 left hand burner. I'll have to take another look tonight.
Yep the "mirror image" image seems to be the case .
That is a great looking stove!! Looks like it's new!
