Does anyone know when they stopped producing the 8R, or do they still produce it? Where did you buy it?
I'm sitting here looking at a unfired 8R that the wife found at a yard sale, she paid $1.50 for it AND the top half of a Primus Grasshopper! She has the touch! Couple of weeks ago, she bought a plastic sandwich bag of 'Junk' jewelry for $3. Turns out there was about $30.00 worth of silver and a 14K Gold chain, worth about $385.00 !!! I think I'll keep her!
Rom, very nice 8R you have gotten. I got my 8R for 3.50, mini pump cap, no pump. Then a guy was going out biz, he had a used sporting goods store. I bought a pump from him cost 2.00 USD.

You could say that 1000 NOK is the same as payment for about one and a half days work with average payment, perhaps one days work for some. Still, it is a reasonable price for an unused 8R here in Norway. Last time i bought an unused 8R, I payed 800 NOK for it, and I dont regret buying it. Edit- Did you buy the 8R with the pump for 1000 NOK? If so, it is a even better buy because the pump usually goes for about 250 NOK "I guess".
Yes Kristian123 the pump were in the box. But of course (to the rest) i coulded have found one for free somewhere maybe, but who wants too wait? not me.
