Hi all i found a 1970 optimus stove 831 was able to start one side with rwgular coleman propane for 1min and now wont light up again any tios advise??? Please help i want to use it
@Timothy-007 You ‘Licensed to ...’ cook? Blocked gas jet probably. The jet hole is very small and you may not have a wire fine enough to prick out the blockage. The jet should unscrew. Compressed air’s the best way to shift whatever’s blocking the jet, blown through from front side, opposite the screw threads, reversing the direction the dirt took to get in there. Or, find a wire fine enough to prick it out, but gently so’s not to enlarge the hole, or the stove will burn fuel-rich with yellow flames. Good luck!
Thanks i will look at that!!! any way i can remove the old hose and replace for a new hose that fits the canadian tire propane tank(camping tank) i still hear gaz coming out the burner#1 and it wont light up. those this stove take diferent propane?
No, propane is propane. Can we see the other side of the hose and where it connects to the stove.? Thanks
I have this regulator on my big propane here in Fort McMurray for my furnace, propane stove and Regency propane heater in the living room and even at -50 outside, it works good and not big. Hope that helps https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B06XGGV9KM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_DeI9EbMSBAC1T
