    A 1930's double burner from Optimus that burns both paraffin & petrol. Mike has refurbished the stove so the pictures show before & after.

    Would you really use petrol in this stove? I am about to refurbish one, very similar to this, and It has a kerosene NRV, so I would go anywhere near et with petrol (= gasoline).

    The one I have has very little paint left, but it seems to be silver (?"silverfrost") over green. Is a dark green, like Landrover green, the original colour for early versions of this stove?

    The above post should have said "I would not go anywhere near it with petrol (=gasoline)....
