Optimus No:184

    Yes, that is the difference as I understand it.

    In the case of the stoves I have my 184 is galvanised and my 182 is enamel. But I don't think that matters as many marine stoves are enamel.

    The 183 and 184 are identical to the 181 and 182 but have the frame (i.e.'fiddle rails) fitted, indicating that they are intended to be used afloat...

    From the links you provided the 183 & 184 are both marine stoves with the 183 being a single burner and the 184 a double which would make mine 184.

    To add one more note on this,,,Trojandog did say he believed it was a 184 when I first posted.It was not that I doubted your word,it just took a while for all the research and info to click into my brain. :lol: Thank you again!!!
