Hi Here are some photos of an Optimus No.96 that I have been working on recently. I believe that it is a Version 3, using Bryan Miller's classification, and probably dates from the 1960s: I acquired this Optimus No.96 as a "part-stove" without legs or burner parts. I have added a burner "bell" and flame plate and peened the "lipstick vaporiser aperture to approx.0.23mm. I had to remove/re-solder the pump-tube in order to service the NRV. This stove has a one-piece rubber compound valve, which is still operational. Of course I also added an excellent "Sefa" pump leather. I made a set of legs from some fencing wire. The stove is now operating well, as you can see from the flame-pattern.
