    Oremus No1, this has been in my collection for a wile, fixed leg with a noisey burner. Don't know how old. It's different to all the others in the gallery.

    Now it seems this is destined to be my workshop stove for w wile. It burns fearsly and very noisey.

    Oh my, they made a lot of brands in the same factory. I assume they were to supply different suppliers ?

    Let Us Pray seems apt for a brassey, not overly religious but some praying is needed each time one lights these things, only joking.

    Incidentally, one of my friends own an old Land Rover 88 which is fondly nicknamed Oremus - for the precise reason given by @Robert Bruce ...
