Photos are blurry...again. Cannot stop my hands from shaking. Anyways, got this one in Saturday. Pretty good shape, and got a good deal on it, comparatively speaking. Label, top of case: Opened up. Had a heck of a time getting the lid off: What I received: Assembled: Burner plate: Size comparison to an Optimus 8R: Was going to fire it up, but it needs new seals. Anyone know where I can get a kit for it? Does the Baby Enders 9063 take the same kit? Thanks for any help, appreciate it. Thanks for looking.
@The Warrior This is the seller in Germany who I purchase seals etc from for my Enders stoves. I know him well and is very good. He is however currently away till 9th Feb. Regards Pharael
Thanks man, it is in good shape. I got an email after I contacted the seller above, stating that he's away until the 10th.
I have this stove and the 9063. Same kit and seals...same pump leather. Pm me...I have TONS of seals...pump leather I don't have spares. I'll send you some in the mail free
Also @sefaudi sells a while kit with seals and pump leather 3 x ENDERS & BABY STOVE PUMP CUP REPAIR KIT 9060 9061 9063 9065 | eBay
@SveaSizzler No clue. If I remember, I'll weigh them tomorrow. @Remus1956 I figured they were the same, nice to know for sure. I will take you up on your offer sir. The pump works somewhat. Probably just needs lubed.
@Warrior Thanks. I would have guessed the Baby Enders was the lighter unit, it looks more ''skeletal.'' But 13 grams lighter isn't much for an Optimus 8R to brag about, either. Damn close, really.
You're welcome. Yeah, real close. I thought before weighing them that the 8R was a lot heavier. Guess not.
I wonder which stove holds more fuel? That might affect their gross weights. Fuel efficiency might factor in here, too. If one stove burns hotter, but depletes faster it might come in behind. One stove might have more fuel capacity. I have two 8Rs and a 99, but never have seen an Enders available.
There's a few Baby Enders on fleabay now. One for $149, one for $199. I got lucky on mine. Scored it for under $100. I too, have 2 8R's, and 2 99's. Father in law gifted me one 99, and got the other at a local antique mall for $35. As a matter of fact, I got one of my 8R's for $35 as well. Right place at the right time. Not sure of the fuel capacity.
My most recent score was a Coleman 533 Dual Fuel, unfired, for $50 on Cragislist, locally, last month. 1998 build. Still quite amused with that, and not wanting to take on anymore Fettle Cases for a while.
