This Austrian made stove has an unusual location for the reserve lid parking boss. Normally they are on the top of the tank however this has the boss on the side of the tank opposite the pump. Earlier stoves had a threaded hole in a a leg housing for parking the reserve lid. The tank is in good condition and has E6 engraved underneath. I have no idea whether this is a date code or something to do with quality control.

I think that this version of the stove is later than the other version with the parking boss in the leg housing

I actually think it is earlier than the leg boss versions - otherwise this would have to be quite a late model - late 50's or later. Tin is much older than that plus the boss on the tank was copied from or by Meva for their equivalent model, the Pragus 30 made at their Austrian factory no later than the early 30's.

    Hi Ross

I have just posted this Phoebus 30 which had instructions that appeared to be dated 1927 so I suspect that this is the later of the two providing the instructions did belong to the other stove and had not been added by a previous owner

The topics seem to be going on okay now

    Regards Bryan
