Hello! Today i found a Phoebus 625 in a tin from the Swiss Army. It looked nearly NOS. But there is one thing i´m astonished at. The Black color of the tank could this be original?? If not i spend the 10 euros to hell! :rage:

If it is a military stove, I'm more surprised at the Barbie Pink handle :) .

    Hi Martin,

It looks beautiful. Where is the flame shot?

If you are not happy with the color, I will gladly buy this stove from you.

Hi ! I'm far from being an expert but I've never seen a black 625. I though the military version has the very same dark beige color as civilian ones. Is there any sticker on the tank ?

:-k In any case, give it to Yonadav and forget about it....

Ok I think it has been repainted, too. And it is in realy good condition only the gasket from the air pump is broken (great damage lol). The Paint is not realy heat-resistant I ascertained during the preheating, also I think that the color in no porblem for me :-). I´m even fine with it.
But shame on me I forget the flame shot!!
As an excuse her is one from my other Phoebus 625.
The original picture i will deliver later, promised!!

    Hey, Martin,

I rather like your black painted 625! Looks like it means business, and is ready for "come what may"!! To me, seeing such a stove that has been repainted is of little concern. If fact, I've given thought to repainting, or maybe powder-coating, one of my own 625 stoves, just for grins. Thanks for sharing your 625 here, and from the looks of it, it's running perfectly!! Congrats on scoring it, and as far as I'm concerned, you got a great deal for only 10 Euros!!  8)  :D :D Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc
