Picked this one up on the junk line at auction last Sunday, --- no info

    100 % working, Can anyone shed some light on this?
    How old / did it have an instruction sheet? / spanner / anything else ?

    Your stove does not have a "parking" boss for the traveling cap so I assume it sits on the pump rod, can you check that? It would have had a spanner, but these often get lost. Also no alci bottle, these often get rust pinholes and who in their right mind wants to keep a leaking container, right?!?
    Other than that, it looks to be a very nice find, Petromax had a name for high quality when production was in Germany or, later, in Portugal so this one will give you years of guaranteed reliable fun! Congrats!

    That looks like the travel cap screwed onto the end of the pump.
