No before picks, but it was a rusted mess. Had to do electrolysis to get the remains of the old enamel paint off the case, drill out rusted screws, etc. Aluminum tag was pretty well shot, could barely make out the model number.

    Nice feature is the cast iron burners. Not as well designed as those from the Coleman’s of the same era (1930’s?), but they do work well. Has the all-in-one pump with integrated NRV. Sheet metal is pretty heavy gauge. Overall, a solid stove that was in pretty reasonable shape, despite the rust and crud. Obviously, I chose a non-standard color scheme; it’s a user.

    Questions:

    I think the stove is from the 1930’s any thoughts?
    This stove seems pretty close to the 418A. What are the differences?

    Nice stove and good work bringing that back to service, looks great.
