I recently obtained this little stove from a lady in Kansas City, KS back in October of 2018. I just finished rebuilding the mechanicals and thoroughly cleaning out the manifold. Did no painting on the stove body nor on the fuel tank. Someone in the past did a repair job around the fuel fill. Does hold pressure nicely. Fired right up, runs excellent. Very robust generator and was in amazingly good shape after all these years. The non-letter 516 appears in the '40 PW catalogue. The "A" model may have come out in 1941 or it could very well be a post war model when manufacturers resumed production after the war and needing something immediately with no alterations in appearance, just giving it a suffix letter and calling it good, who knows. If I find more info, I'll pass it along. Anyway here are some pix.

Very tidy, you can't beat a bit of good paintwork, helps with keeping it clean.

Obviously a well cared for stove in the past.

What a beauty; I've never seen one before. I may be heresy, but I think it is more attractive than the Coleman competitors.
