Reduce, re-use, recycle:
Can you ship me a few of those? Preferably filled with original contents???
Hi Steve, I would love to, but when my cousin gives the tubes to me all thay contain is the wood veneer liner!
Lucky man, your cousin !
Hi George, nice idea! This world would be a better place if more people did just that; find new uses for "old" things! In Belgium we have recycling compounds (if that is what you would call them, we call them "container park) where people can bring their no longer needed stuff. It is selected in different containers to be recycled. Some of the goods brought in go to a special shop to be sold at a very low price. A friend of mine works at one of these parks, and he has recycled for me two blowtorches and a complete Primus 96 in its tin! He promised he'll keep his eyes wide open for more .
Oh and btw, tell your cousin the veneer wood is ceddar, and is supposed to be lit and then used to carefully heat the cigar at it's tip! Once it glows evenly, start smoking. Enjoy! (He seems to have a good taste , I like his choice!)
Exactly what I use them for in my toolkit! Off the cigars over a year now so no replenishment in site - they last well though!
Hi Everyone. My benefactor lives in the USA and I think he could be reported if he is smoking Cuban Cigars in the States!!!!
Definitely way down-market, but the perfect size.
Empty Berocca tubes are useful too.
