I have been searching for this item during the all time of my collecting and finally got one after 50 years It is special desig with a ribbed surface to let the fat run down to the rim at the edge. Note the spout where all owerflow is drained. Of course 3 slots at the bottom to fix it to a tripod stove. So now I have to keep on finding a 1312 and a 1111. Will probably only take a hundred years or so. Bo
Congratulations...persistence pays off every now and then. Good luck on your other two quixotic quests. Ben
That looks like a Hokkaido jinkuskan pan. Jinkuskan is grilled mutton, but now there are many other meat choices.
This is amazing! If it wasn't for the catalog illustration, it wouldn't have occurred to me that many years ago people had such great ideas. Congratulations on your find.
@optipri Excellent find, Bo. It reminded me of this discussion about the cast iron “Primus 9916” pan I have: What is this? "Primus 9916" Cheers Tony
