    Been waiting for this one for a bit, finally came in today. All the way from Norway, with the aid and assistance from our very helpful friend, Mr. @Harder D. Soerensen . The Primus 210 Høvik Verk. A few photos.

    Was very excited to get this in:

    She's going to need a fettling, and I already have a kit for it. Am off all next week, so it shouldn't be long for a flame shot.

    Does anyone know how to tell the age of this? I don't see a stamp on the bottom of the tank.

    Thanks again, @Harder D. Soerensen for all your help. Couldn't have done it without you!

    Hi @The Warrior
    You asked about the date of your lovely Hovik Verk Primus No.210 L;
    Perhaps somewhere between 1953 and 1961...

    Over the period 1953 to 1961, Primus sub-contracted some stove manufacture to Hovik Verk in Norway, due to production difficulties in their own Swedish factories. Some, but perhaps not all, of these stoves had “ Lisenstilvirkit Hovik Verk” and “MADE IN NORWAY” engraved on their tanks, as well as “Primus”.

    From this thread:

    Hovik Verk Primus Stoves

    Ross / Spiritburner reckons these Hovik Verk Primus No.210 stoves were made solely for the Norwegian Market.

    Best Regards,
    Kerophile.

    Thanks man. It may work with a simple pump cup change, but I may as well replace al the seals before firing it up.

    Anytime...

    Glad it made it all the way - looking forward to a line-up flameshot of your Nordic Radius-Optimus-Primus-Høvik family of stoves ;-)

    @Harder D. Soerensen

    I still need to fettle my Radius 21 as well, haha. Never got around to it. That's actually why I have a kit on hand, it was meant for the 21. I have another on the way though. I will get that group shot. ;)

    @Ian

    Thanks man, they're great little stoves. I still need a 96 in my life as well. I'll get one, one of these days. Doing some construction at home right now, and somewhat have to keep an eye on the funds.
