This is not in the list of primus / a like new primus 518 in the box
Congrats and thank you for posting.
That is stunningly beautiful NOS, just amazing. We will like to know *the year stamped on tank.
Right you are... 518 not on CCS Primus model list, I think yours is 1st such example we've seen.
Per *1939 catalog this range is designated a model No. 518/3 .
518 for having it's No. 4047 silent burners.
518/3 for having green enameled frame and chrome tanks.
AB 3 on the tank
wow thanks for the info !!
Welcome to the site btw.
Your stove is a rare beauty. I'll add FYI, that it fits in an unfired "collectible" NOS niche, so long as it remains unfired.
A rare stove with rare burners. You might want to get more familiar with 4047 burner:
dday has that burner on his '37 Primus 57 , kerophile had the last word in that thread as he links us to a "Primus 110" where he provides more 4047 burner detail.
“AB” is 1937.
Hello maybe not the place to ask but what should i think about pricewise ?
Ask that in “Valuations”… but: As an unfired stove of that age and make, a price will be difficult to set. It will be what a very keen collector wants to pay you.
I’m sure there are European collectors who would desire that stove greatly.
Thank you. I've put this question in the valuations jos
Thanks for the great photos, really nice.
