    Hi All

I'm halfway through restoring this 54 silent burner ( 1955 ) & have just completed the 54 roarer ( 1934 ), this stove should have a no4 burner (according to mike at base-camp ) but must have been changed when they became hard to get then obsolete .

Both are in full working order, but the silent is just waiting on a polish.

    Hi Stu,

What do you mean "the silent is waiting on a polish"? It shines better than mine AFTER polish.

    Beautiful stoves, excellent restoration.

    Any flame shots coming?

    Hi Yonadav & MTA

I'll sort out the flame shots when they're both finished  get them photographed together with lots of fire ,as for the cleaning MTA check out my posts on the subject or i may even do a full picture post on what i do to polish later on  :D

Also meant to mention that the pump tube on the earlier stove is the same dia as the 210/111 just the rod is longer , the 1955 stove has the standard tube size & rod length.

    Best regards Stu  .

Hi Stu, check out this catalogue. The Pr.54 takes the same #4138 silent burner as the No.5 stove:

The Pr.51 was the roarer sister of the 54.

    Best Regards,

    Kerophile.
